It’s a pleasure to be able to write this review. Barry played at me and my wife’s wedding in the Dunmore House Hotel Clonakilty on the 23rd of May. I’ve followed Barry the last few years and to have him play at my wedding and making it one to remember. He learned 2 songs for us, one for the ceremony and one for the drinks reception and played them perfect. Barry is an absolute gentleman to deal with. Everyone at the wedding was asking who he was that his voice and song choices are brilliant. He got everyone going at the drinks reception. Even had a few people asking for his name while they’re thinking of their own future wedding. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Barry and anyone who’s looking for it all Barry 100% has it. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We were absolutely thrilled with Barry’s performance at our wedding! He sang at both our ceremony and drinks reception, and we couldn’t have asked for better. With years of experience behind him, Barry was so easy to deal with from start to finish. He guided us through the musical side of the ceremony, offering thoughtful recommendations that really helped the flow of the day.

One of the standout things for us was how professionally he handled the transitions — Barry set up two separate stations so there was no gap in music between the ceremony and reception. It kept the atmosphere going seamlessly and made such a difference to the overall vibe.

His voice and presence created such a lovely mood, and so many of our guests commented on how great he was. We would highly recommend Barry to any couple looking to add a special touch to their big day!

If looking for a wedding singer then look no further than Barry. We had him for our ceremony and drinks reception recently in Bellingham Castle and he was amazing from start to finish. All our guests mentioned how great he was.

Well what can we say …. Barry is just top class! Don’t think about booking Barry DO IT!! From chatting to him first to days up to the wedding Barry has been fantastic.
Our ceremony music was beautiful with our own little quirks thrown in – to which Barry had no problem accommodating! Absolute ledge!
Now…our drinks reception was lit! I think Barry was surprised by the crowds ability to lift the roof off with the singing and crack – he did an unbelievable job at getting the party started … nobody wanted to leave and go into dinner, they wanted him to stay! And rightly so, this man is an absolute cracker when it comes to singing! One of our guests who’s also getting married has booked him after hearing him at ours and we’re so excited to hear and see him again in October! Thanks again Barry!

Big thanks to Barry for being part of our big day. I was delighted when he was available to play for us and having watched so many of his YouTube videos I could not wait for the day!
Music is such an important part of your big day and to have someone so professional, knowledgeable, chill and fun just adds to the day. Nothing I asked was a problem and every piece he performed was just magical. We had so many comments from our guests! He even had my parents up dancing at our drinks reception!!

Barry performed for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception when we got married in Belleek Castle, Mayo in December. His professionalism and talent is only topped by how lovely a person he is!! From the wide range of songs he can perform, to the recommendations he gave to help us plan our wedding music, he was just top class! We also haven’t stopped watching the Instagram reels he created on the day!

We would highly recommend Barry as he will create the perfect atmosphere for your big day!

Barry performed our wedding ceremony music on Friday 31st Jan 2025 and was exceptional.
When Noel and myself got engaged, Noel heard Barry on Instagram and said I want him to play at our wedding, in a small twist of faith, I said I’ve known Barry from years ago and he’s from my local town and as luck had it, Barry was available to play for us.
Barry was so professional with any question that we had for him and any last minute changes too.
On the day of the wedding, Barry was the first to arrive (I live next door to the church so could see everyone arriving!) and everyone complimented us on the music Barry played before the ceremony had even started.
During the ceremony, the music flowed so freely and everyone afterwards was saying how brilliant it was.
We left the church as a married couple to Dreams and it really got the party started!

We can’t thank Barry enough for all his help leading up to and on the day of our wedding. All the vendors who asked beforehand who is doing the music in the church, all said that Barry is a dream to work with and it is so true.

Absolutely phenomenal.

We chose Barry for our ceremony & drinks reception music and he did not disappoint.

For the Bridal party entrance we chose a song that wasn’t on Barry’s set list and ever the professional he took the challenge on to learn it & smashed it. His version was better than the original!!

So many of our guests commented on his song selection for drinks reception and said they’d have happily stayed listening to him all day.

We’d highly recommend Barry.

Barry played our cermony music and drinks reception both of which were in Darver Castle on December 7th, 2024.
For the cermony he played The Voyage, Christy Moore for when I walked in with my dad and it was so beautiful.
When we were lighting the candles during the cermony he played his own version of Enchanted by Taylor Swift, which so many of my friends complimented after.
For reception drinks he played a great mix of decade and kept the crowd entertained.
Barry was great to deal with and so we’ll organised throughout the planning, I would recommend him to anyone having a wedding, he was amazing!
